listen to me.
what have you been, that human words can hold?
for final soul, completion, angel of pain
for lord of substance, and all things uncorrupted
there have never been words for these
small enough for human lips and human minds
the angel:
are we human, then, waiting for human raptures?
you have never touched me with human hands.
why do you turn your face from me?
the interria:
because it is happening now. there are no more days.
last night i dreamed that i was falling
awake, i knew that i was falling still
i touched you, tried to wake you. you were so cold.
